This therapy group is designed for women working in the music industry who want support managing stress, anxiety, professional challenges, sexism, and balancing work with family or personal life.

Participants will connect with others who understand the unique demands of the industry while learning practical tools for managing stress and building sustainable careers.

Whitney O’Malley, LMFT

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in anxiety, stress, and working with professionals in creative industries. Before becoming a therapist, Whitney worked in the music industry in artist management, marketing for major and imprint labels, and running a touring artist’s philanthropic foundation. These experiences gave her firsthand insight into the pressures, dynamics, and challenges of the industry.

Today, Whitney works with individuals across many professions, with particular understanding of people in creative fields. She also facilitates therapeutic groups and helps clients develop healthier ways to navigate difficult emotions.

Q: How long are the sessions?
A: Each session is 90 minutes.

Q: Can I use insurance?
A: Participants receive a superbill that may be eligible for out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your insurance plan.

Q: What if I’m not in California?
A: Participants must be physically located in California during sessions to comply with licensing rules.
