Music Week Features New Electronic Music Executive Programme

Music Week features MITC + Maria May’s new fully-funded programme for the Electronic Music sector.

MITC has been featured in Music Week for the launch of our new Electronic Music Executive Stress Management Programme — a fully-funded, six-month therapeutic programme designed specifically for electronic music professionals.

The programme offers free mental health and stress management support to five entry- to mid-level dance music professionals. It is designed as a preventative intervention — helping participants build self-awareness, strengthen resilience, and develop practical, lifelong strategies for sustaining both wellbeing and career performance over the long term.

Burnout is sometimes worn as a badge of honour in the music industry. But the evidence is clear: chronic stress affects emotional regulation and cognitive functioning, making it harder to think clearly, manage pressure, and recover effectively. This programme exists to change that.

The programme has been generously sponsored by leading dance music agent Maria May of CAA, who will also offer a one-to-one mentoring session to each participant.

“This industry is built on passion, but passion on its own is not always enough to protect people from pressure and overload… I wanted to support a programme that invests in professionals as whole people, helping them build careers that are ambitious, healthy and sustainable.” – Maria May

How to Apply

Applications are open now and close on 1 June 2026. The programme will select a cohort of five participants, with interviews and assessments taking place in June and July.
