Meet Your Hosts:

Sascha Heeney: MITC’s Touring Welfare Officer combines the roles of occupational health advisor, counsellor, mediator, health coach, and activity planner to optimise the touring live-work environment and support high performing teams.

Sascha has three decades of experience in live music and touring, in a variety of roles. She is also an experienced psychiatric nurse and a tour guide, leading tours to some of the most remote destinations in the world.

Laurie Pegg: MITC’s Integrative Counselor combines different therapeutic approaches to identify personal patterns and find healthier ways to manage them in an effort to build resilience and find ways to cope with life’s difficulties.

With over twenty years in the music industry, including festival promotion, music sponsorship and marketing, content management, and booking, Laurie has seen the industry from all perspectives, understanding of the unique challenges people working within music face and how that can impact on everyday life.
