MITC has partnered with Just A Bunch Of Roadies (JABOR) on the Charlie’s Hugs Fund for mental health support, a pilot initiative designed to increase access to specialist mental health care for people working in live music and touring across the globe.
JABOR was co-founded by touring legend, Charlie Hernandez, and respected tour manager, the late Lori Tierney, bringing together live events professionals to support humanitarian & environmental relief efforts globally, responding quickly to needs across the touring community.
Who Is the Charlie’s Hug Fund For?
- Live music industry professionals with at least 2 years of full-time experience
- People navigating short-term situational challenges
- Those needing occasional support or check-ins while on the road
How it works:
- Complete MITC’s Confidential Interest Form HERE
- MITC reviews eligibility and clinical suitability on a rolling basis
- If eligible, MITC will connect you with a specialist therapist
- JABOR covers 50% of session fees for up to 10 sessions (a client cost of £50/$67 per session)
