Pay It Forward provides eligible touring teams with a fully funded package of specialist tour health support, designed around the realities of life and work on the road.

For the first programme year, we aim to support up to 50 tours taking place between October 2026 and the end of June 2027. Applications are open internationally.

Applications are open for the current funding round, which will cover tours taking place between October and December 2026.

All applications are considered together following each funding round deadline – applying earlier within the window does not increase your chances of receiving support.

How funding rounds work

Pay It Forward operates through three application rounds throughout the year.

Each round has a defined opening and closing date and may relate to tours taking place within a particular period. Applications received during the round are assessed together after the closing date. Funding is not allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

If your tour falls outside the dates covered by the current round, check back for the next application window or REGISTER FOR UPDATES.

You may find it helpful to read our FAQ. During the application, you will be asked about your tour, itinerary, touring team, existing support and why Pay It Forward would be useful.

Please have available:

• Your current tour itinerary. It does not need to be completely final.
• Your current tour P&L.

We know tour budgets are commercially sensitive. Your P&L and identifiable application information are used only by authorised MITC personnel involved in assessing or delivering the programme. They are not shared with Pay It Forward funders or external organisations.

Please do not include individual diagnoses, medical histories or other detailed clinical information in the application.
