Touring pressures exist at every level. Access to specialist support does not. Pay It Forward enables artists, companies and organisations across the live industry to give back, helping make healthier, more sustainable touring careers possible for those with fewer resources.

The live industry is an ecosystem. Today’s arena headliner was once playing clubs. The people working on the biggest productions built their careers across smaller ones.
Pay It Forward gives the industry a practical way to invest in the people and teams coming through it, helping create healthier, more sustainable touring careers from the ground up.
What does your funding make possible?
Every tour selected for Pay It Forward receives a specialist package combining:
- Healthy Touring education for the whole team
- Occupational Health consultation for tour and production managers
- Confidential 24/7 one-to-one Tour Check-Ins
- Practical tools and resources
The programme aims to support up to 50 tours each year, reaching around 150 touring teams over the initial three years.
Learning from the programme
Alongside delivering support, we’ll gather information about the pressures touring teams face, how the programme is used and where it makes a difference.
We’ll use these insights to evaluate and improve Pay It Forward, and publish an impact report sharing what we learn with the wider live industry.
