At MITC, our mission is rooted in supporting the mental health and wellbeing of everyone working across the touring industry – from stadium tours to club shows. That’s why we’ve introduced Pay It Forward, a new initiative designed to extend mental health support to those who might not otherwise have access.
Who It’s For
While major stadium and arena tours often have the resources to invest in mental health services, many smaller theatre and club tours do not. Pay It Forward is created specifically to bridge that gap – offering free sessions to independent artists and crew working on lower-budget tours.
How It Works
When a coaching session with MITC goes unused, we don’t let it go to waste. Instead, we redistribute these unused appointments to smaller-scale tours in need of support. Larger tours and industry stakeholders also have the opportunity to contribute more directly. As part of the booking process, you can donate extra sessions to the Pay It Forward pool, helping to fund vital support for your peers on the road.
Why We’re Doing This
We believe mental health support should be available to everyone, not just those with the budget to afford it. Touring life is demanding at all levels, and no one should feel they have to navigate its challenges alone. Through this philanthropic program, we’re helping to build a healthier, happier, and more connected touring community – one where we provide safe and supportive work environments, for all.
