A new confidential online service offering short-notice, expert-led coaching sessions designed to address the challenges touring musicians, performers and crew face while living and working on the road
Welcome to our newest tour health innovation! Designed specifically to fill the mental health support gap faced by touring professionals – who find accessing regular sessions with a therapist challenging whilst on the road.
The drop-in service is built for life on tour – flexible, ad-hoc, and available at short notice. With music industry therapists based worldwide, we offer confidential sessions around the clock, in multiple languages. Anywhere. Anytime.
“Welfare coaching” blends the practical tools of coaching, with the psychological insight of therapy. All sessions are led by MITC’s highly trained mental health professionals – who have lived experience of working in the music business – offering tailored support for challenges like burnout, anxiety, relational problems and self-doubt.
Sessions last for up to 50 minutes, with your choice of time and coach. It is a place to vent, problem-solve and set goals, helping you to stay healthy and grounded whilst doing what you love.

What is it for?
Our service can provide the necessary tools for dealing with a variety of issues, including:
- Managing stress and burnout
- Coping with performance pressures (on and off stage)
- Support with substance dependency and addiction recovery
- Tackling relational problems and conflict
- Improving work/life balance and satisfaction
- Development of self-awareness, self-control and self-advocacy
- Managing loneliness and disconnection
- Maintaining physical and psychological health and wellbeing

How do I arrange it for my tour or organisation?
Welfare Coaching Sessions are available for organisations to purchase in blocks of 5, 10 or 20 sessions. Team members are then given a unique code to apply at checkout when booking a session at a time that suits the individual.
This removes the financial barriers to accessing care – improving health inequity. It also keeps the service confidential, helping organisations provide appropriate and specialist support for teams working away from home and their usual support systems. This improves morale and productivity as well as health and wellbeing.
